There is so much that has enriched my life, in spite of the Liberian civil crisis.
As a child, I should have been watching television; I should have been in school learning biology to understand how cells developed and how they die, sociology to know how social factors alter our behaviors or psychology to understand how war affected perceptions but the war taught me the opposite of what I wanted to learn. What inspires me most is seeing young people engage themselves in activities which are channeled towards the development of self and the community. I feel inspired when I see young people build up values for themselves. Not any kind of values, but useful and helpful values which are not just generally accepted as a societal norm but as moral ethics. ( read more)
